Apprently Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner are both happy with this alternative take.

This is one of the major promotion screen captures doing the rounds, so I am slightly baffled that Spock (played by Heroes' Zachary Quinto) is not included in a group shot of the main stars in the cast.
