Gale Harold is an actor who is well-known for his roles in TV series Queer As Folk, Vanished (as Agent Graham Kelton) and Desperate Housewives (as Jackson Braddock). You may also have caught his naked butt in brief appearances for shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Deadwood, The Unit and Law & Order.

From Georgia, Harold has had to reject religion and ended up at university in Washington, DC on a soccer scholarship. I bet his bare legs looked sexy in football shorts. It was actually a friend Susan Landau (daughter of actor Martin Landau) who advised Gale to go into acting in 1997, which he did, entering a classical theater company A Noise Within.

Harold's big break was the controversial role of homosexual Brian Kinney, a character that was voted the Most Popular Gay Character on Television by the AfterElton website. Apparently the show was a remale of the original British drama of the same name, where a giu named Stuart Alan Jones played his role. The American QAF was both lauded and criticized for very explicit depictions of gay club life from nude scenes to oral sex.

Gale went on to star in FOX's Vanished in 2006, playing a character who was actually killed off in the 7th episode. Is it right that Eddie Cibrian replaced Harold on this show? Well I do remember Vanished had other gorgeous men in it including John Patrick Amedori, Joseph C. Phillips and Robert Hoffman. Not too happy about Gale playing a white supremacist in Grey's though!

To date Gale has managed to keep his clothes on more than I would like. But he made up for it in hit gay drama (US version) Queer as Folk where he picks up a young boy (played by Randy Harrison) for a night of sex where he does a full strip tease for the kid, giving us some great naked shots of his butt. There are also a number of scenes in the bedroom that are worth seeing. At one point (shown in my photographs here) he is shown getting out of bed in the nude to answer the phone and you get a 'kind of' full fontal view of his balls and cock. Believe it or not, this was just in the pilot.

Gale joined the cast of ABC's long running hit Desperate Hosuewives in May 2008 as Jackson (Susan Mayer's latest lover). I was hoping it would be another gay role and he would 'turn' Jesse Metcalfe's character John Rowland (except he has left the show).

In October 2008, Harold was injured badly in a motorcycle accident. he had to have a swelling on the brain operated on and also fractured his shoulder. As far as a in know he came out of intensive care and is now, I think, at home recovering.

Expect to see Gale in comedy Passenger Side with Adam Scott soon. OMG great news (See YouTube video above), Gale is returning to Desperate Housewives as Jackson Braddock for Season 5, where he plays Susan's lover (there is some great sex in the first episode).
