Also known as Gerry, Butler was born in Glasgow, Scotland and went on to study in the same city as a lawyer, which he gave up to persue acting. Notably he saved a boys life in a river and received an award from the Royal Humane Society. His movie career started slowly with small roles, including a James Bond movie and the Mummy. More recently he has starred in Reign of Fire, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, The Phantom of the Opera and the 2007 blockbuster 300 where Gerard plays King Leonidas. Great to see a 'new' The Untouchables: Capone Rising with Gerard playing Jimmy Malone. Expect to see Gerard look great in The Ugly Truth, Game, RocknRolla and a whole lot more. Wow this actor is one of the busiest in Hollywood.

On one hand people think he is one of the sexiest men alive yet right now on the other hand he is getting bad press for an accusation of punching paparazzo. Most of his recent films have been lame in my opinion. But looking forward to Game and The Ugly Truth. Any truth to the rumor that Zac Efron is a big gay fan of Gerard?

Now in the bedroom...apparently the Scottish Mr Butler has been dating/seeing/who knows the likes of Cameraon Diaz, Jennifer Aniston (who we thought was getting back together with John Mayer), Cheryl Burke of Dancing With The Stars fame (a show which also features the gorgeous Lance Bass), Rosario Dawson, model Naeomi Campbell, former Miss USA and Playmate Shanna Moakler AND even the artistic types like Kola Boof and Raquelia Fioravante! Christian de la Fuente.

There is apparently some levels of 'access' to Gerard's naked body in the movies 300, Dracula 2000, Mrs. Brown and Timeline. The scene in Timeline is where Butler is changing clothes and you get an awesome view of his big muscles.

I have no idea why I didn't put the screen caps for Mrs Brown online until now (2009). Was there some question as to it being him? Because I have re-examined them and the movie information..unless someone can say otherwise, that's Gerard Butler running in to the waves in his role as Archie Brown in John Madden's historical drama from 1997. I wonder if it was Butler's penis flopping up and down as he ran in to the sea that got it nominated for 2 Oscars.
