America's boy Jared Padalecki is a Texas-born actor who rose to fame in 2000 while appearing in TV series Gilmore Girls, which led to a number of roles in Hollywood movies like New York Minute with Riley Smith and the not-so-great Elisha Cuthbert horror House of Wax with acquired taste Brian Van Holt and that skinny rake Paris Hilton who is infamous for getting naked on camera.
Perhaps my favorite movie Jared has starred in was John Moore's adventure Flight of the Phoenix where he played John Davis. What happened to Zach Johnson, the cute guy who was also in made-for-television flick Silent Witness?
Padalecki was actually in Cheaper by the Dozen where he plays a school bully and although uncredited, IMDB makes sure to acknowledge it.
Apparently Jared's friend, who was playing the part of Charlie Bakerin the movie, Tom Welling asked him to play the part (There is a deleted scene from Smallville where you can catch a glimpse of Tom in the nude). In fact, Padalecki actually audtioned for Tom's part but had to drop it to film a Young Macyver pilot that was never taken up.
Jared now plays Sam Winchester in the WG TV series Supernatural, a show that is has been airing since 2006 now and is filmed in Vancouver. The show also features fellow requested nude of the day man-candies Jensen Ackles, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Misha Collins. The sky is the limit now and Padalecki has already had a lead role in a blockbusting horror, the new Friday the 13th with Travis Van Winkle, Aaron Yoo and Ben Feldman.
