"The newsworthy nude pictures of sexy male celebrities"
Lance Bass
There's no doubt now that our beloved cute singer Lance Bass is gay.
So we got the gay rumors thing out of the way and in the past. What else do we know about James Lance Bass. Well he grew up in Mississippi, rising to fame, as we know very well, in the band 'N Sync as a 'pop' singer. It was their first single I Want You Back that made his band an overnight success. N Sync later started to experience all the typical boy-band problems such as record company disputes with contracts. In 2002 the problems were very noticable and Justin Timerlake announced he was to record solo material. It is sad that, it seems, Justin was the the catalyst in the split. Lance has always seemed keen to give 'N Sync another go. I know the fans would be pleased.
Since 2000 Lance has been running his own music management company (Free Lance Entertainment), employing members of his family.
Lance has also delved into the world of acting, guest-starring in the WB drama series 7th Heaven as Rick Palmer (the love interest of Lucy, a character played by Beverly Mitchell). His first starring role was in a movie On he Line, which also featured Al Green and Bon Jovi. Sadly the film was a failure. I think his producing career is somewhat more successful?
Lance Bass Quotes:
"I can't bear looking in the mirror - I guess that's why my hair looks like this."
Lance on acting: "It's something I've always been interested in, since I was little. I was interested in acting before I was in music. I just love to entertain. It's something I wanted to challenge myself with, because I'm definitely not the best actor in the world. So I want to learn - and the best learning experience is just to jump into it and... maybe not do a lead... that was kind of ballsy, but I did." (source: Ten Questions with Lance Bass).
"You've got to have a sense of humor to keep your sanity."
"I'll go and I'll host or do whatever (Haskell) wants me to do. Events like these are real special because you're lucky if you can get three or four celebrities to attend an event in Los Angeles."
"We're working on that. We should know this week. I'm a positive person so I always think positively."
On coming out and whether his mother really found out he was gay from NY Post's Page Six: "Yeah, basically, yeah. It was just a question she had to my sister, actually, was the one who had to tell her...They contacted me," Lance explains that he had no control over the 'I'm Gay' headline. (MSNBC).
Nsync on the Early Show:
Classic video from YouTube with young hunks from the band 'back then', JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone all looking as sexy as I remember.
Latest News on Lance Bass:
Need someone to mail in and let me know if he has any future plans to travel into space?!?!?
Lance's autobiography was out in October 2007. I hope you all bought it and read it cover to cover. I was disappointed in the lack of nude photographs :p
Most recent on-screen appearances for Bass include I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry where he played himself a band leader and the hilarious move Tropic Thunder with a small cameo role as himself.
Lance's most recent activity is competing on the TV show Dancing With the Stars with his partner Lace Schwimmer.
