Everyone knows gorgeous Luke Macfarlane now, he has been in ABC's hit television drama Brothers and Sisters since 2006 when he joined the cast as Scotty Wandell and eventually married one of the 'brothers' Kevin Walker (played by the guy who looks great in the nude, Matthew Rhys). I presume he was brought in to replace Kevin's previous male love interest, the firm-muscled celebrity Jason Lewis (who we all adored as Sam's lover Jerry Smith Jerrod in Sex and the City in 2008).

Although born in Canada, Luke moved to New York City to study drama, starring in a number of plays before graduating in 2003. He continued to work on stage in productions such as Where Do We Live, which received a GLAAD Media Award.

Macfarlane soon moved from stage and the tights bulge, in to television with roles like Private Frank 'Dim' Dumphy in the FX seris Over There and later with Altman's Tanner on Tanner. With all the nudity in Liam Neeson's 2004 hit movie about sex education, Kinsey, you may have missed Luke amongst gorgeous male celebrities like Chris O'Donnell and Peter Sarsgaard. Sorry I'm not in to theatre enough to cover his complete history. It doesn't tend to provide many naked photographs of the actors.

Did you know Luke Macfarlane sings for a band called Fellow Nameless, which has been together since high school. They have recorded some studio and live material which you might find through recording company Maverick Records. I think the band members that remain have changed the name to Cancel Winter now though. But Luke, bless him, still sticks with them, no doubt looking for excuses to show off his naked talents on the cello and trumpet.

I think the scene when Scotty and Kevin are kissing is the first decent shot of Luke Macfarlane shirtless on Brothers and Sisters and it left me longing to get a glimpse of his penis. From the side he really looks like Greg Germann (Richard Fish in Ally McBeal) who is in Group Sex now? Did you know that ex-Dante's Cove stud Adrian Quinonez appeared in an episode to flirt with Kevin? ABC you are not moving forward quick enough, they should have been naked for this kiss, it looks awefully fake.

The first couple of caps have Luke looking really buff and treats us to his clean shaven bare butt but I am not sure which show/film they are from. The others are from the David Wu TV series Iron Road, with a cast that included Kenneth Mitchell and Rob Hayter. Macfarlane's character is in the nude when he climbs up the cliff and jumps in to the river. Thanks to the power of DVDs we have pics as he climbs up where his balls and possibly cock are visible through his legs.

In an ABC blog interview Luke talked about the wedding, saying "Oh, it was really wonderful. It kind of felt like we were doing something big, and it was done with great care from the costumes to the script. I know that David had spoken with someone who had officiated gay marriages, so that the words would be accurate and in line. And it was beautiful, you know. I felt like we all felt like were doing something special."
