Let's avoid commenting on whether Hollywood studs should get involved in politics. But you know how I feel about time wasted if it isn't spent spread naked in a magazine like Playgirl eh!

Full name Matthew Paige Damon was born in 1970 and as well as being an actor, is quite the philanthropist, which I do respect him for. How many of you knew that hjew actually wrote the screenplay for Good Will Hunting? (he won an Oscar for it!). He had a dry patch but the Bourne Identity relaunched his career. I have to name some of his best films: Saving Private Ryan, Ocean's Eleven (twelve and thirteen), The Bourne Supermacy, The Departed and so on

I just found out (to no real surprise) that People magazine named him sexiest man alive in 2007. Previous winners of this coveted People award have included George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Pierce Brosnan and Brad Pitt.

"Success is not something I've wrapped my brain around. If people go to those movies, then yes, that's true, big-time success. If not, it's much ado about nothing."

Movie news: There is another Jason Bourne movie for 2010! (no news yet, it is still an 'untitled Jason Bourne project' at IMDB. I think he has some sort of cameo in Guerrilla, a Steven Soderbergh movie about the '64 Argentine revolutionary Ernesto 'Che' Guevara. But that's it for 2008? Ouch Matt has some quite years. Might I suggest he does more nude sex scenes. Anyway, for 2009 there is a whole list of movies including Green Zone, Margaret, The Informant and The Human Factor.

To be fair, I think he spends a lot of time doing 'good' with the likes of Wyclef Jean. He has also put his weight behind the Obama campaign for president.

Matt hasn't given us any full frontal nude scenes yet, he has shown off his muscular upper body in All the Pretty Horses (where in the courtroom scene we also get to see him drop his pants, exposing his white underwear), gives us a decent side view of his naked body in The Good Shepherd, towards the end of The Talented Mr. Ripley, Damon gets out of the bath in front of Gwyneth Paltrow (Marge) when his towel falls down, leaving him completely nude, exposing his butt to us and finally I believe you get to see some nudity in School Ties in the shower scene with a young Brendan Fraser.
