English sex on a stick Rupert Evans is a diverse actor who trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He quickly got roles in television shows such as the BBC comedy My Family, drama Crime and Punishment and North and South. You may also have caught him in Paradise Heights and Rockface. More recently he has been in some high profile stage productions such as Romeo and Juliet (2006), Macbeth, Sweet Panic (2003) and Kiss of the Spider Woman in 207 at the Donmar Warehouse, which then went on tour. I am checking whether Evans has had any nude scenes on stage and will post any gossip and pics I can dig up.

It's still early days for Rupert's movie career, Hollywood is only just beginning to take notice of his talents - I can so see him playing a gay character like James Franco's in Milk. His biggest movie rile to date was perhaps as the FBI Agent John Myers in Guillermo del Toro's comic book adaption Hellboy with Ron Perlman, although Rupert didn't make it into the sequel. I just discovered that he had a part in The Browning Version back in '94 - I'll to rent a copy and take a peak, see if he gets naked and shows us his 'version' :p Ouch, I'm not funny any more. Has anyone seen Sidney Turtlebaum yet? It has a huge rating on IMDB at the moment but It hasn't been on wide release yet. I hear it is about a slightly mad gay Jewish man and although just a short and categorized as a short, sounds like it could be hilarious. Still not sure how big a part Rupert has in it.

In the BBC DH Lawrence adaption Rupert was nude a number of times throughout the drama, showing off his lean body. We see his sexy butt when he crawls on top og Esther Hall and then again as he runs into the sea without any clothes on. The best bet is when he strips down to get into bed and we get a brief but clear full frontal as he walks towards the camera.

Evans recently finished filming Agora with the English rose Rachel Wiesz and Max Minghella. It has previewed ad Cannes but not news on wider distribution. It is a historical romantoc drama set in 391 A.D. Egypt and is rumored to have regular nudity. Update: possible release across the States in December 2009.

Rupert is currently starring in Jane Austin's Emma as Frank Churchill.

Future project: Frost Flowes, starring alongiside Holly Hunter and Gavin Rossdale. A movie about a man who can contact supernatural beings and falls for a beautiful spirit.
