Not much info on Sam out there at the moment. I think he is an acompished stage actor who has started doing some TV like CSI:N and Numb3rs. We all know Tramell for his role as Sam Merlotte in the vamipre TV series True Blood, where other stars like Stephen Moyer and its star Ryan Kwanten have already starting stripping naked.
