Full name Shia Saide LaBeouf, he is an American actor who grew up in California. His break into stardom was through the Disney as Even Stevens. Fortune had it that he was involved in some box office hits early on such as Holes, Constantine and I, Robot. I think his first lead role was for Steven Speilberg in The Greatest Game Ever Played. More recently LaBouef's cute butt has appeared in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Eagle Eye, Disturbia and Transformers (alongside Josh Duhamel). Did I mention he wears size 11 shoes! Big for a guy just short of 6 ft tall. What I don't get is the comedian thing. Okay so he is named after his comedian grandfather and has a Jewish humor thing. Clearly he has the ability to spark the whole 'is he gay' rumor thing, which usually adds comedic value. But, okay bulked up all hunky he is
now. But funny? Not for me. I will laugh a happy laugh if someone could persuade him to do a Playgirl spread in the nude though.
Send me some of his jokes that are funny
please.
"It's very weird because the 'It' guy usually is not the 'It' guy next year or even a guy that anyone is taking about. I'm not worried about any of it. I'm enjoying it. It's just a weird title" (Shia LaBeouf: How I'm Getting Buff for Indiana Jones @ People.com)
"I'm not a star, I'm an actor." (comingsoon.net)
"But this is a little different. This is the adult acting. This is a different crowd. It's more work and more good work. That's it. People will have their opinion regardless."
"We did this two-week boot camp before we filmed the movie. I got to know everybody in the group and we became friends. We got really tight throughout those two weeks."
"...17-hour days—we'd have an hourlong workout, then go into filming for 16 hours. Which was nuts, but it created the stamina, it prepared me for what was coming." (Shia LaBeouf speaking at The A.V. Club)
"And if you're a golfer and you watch a golf film and Matt Damon swing, and it's not great, then you're not going to believe in the golf story, you're not going to believe in the rest of the film. That's the whole movie, so if that swing looks like crap, the movie's crap."
