Although born in sleepy Belgium, location of COlin Farrell's excellent In Bruge, British actor Travis Oliver grew up in Surrey in the UK, attending his school Frensham Heights with fellows gay idols Tobias Menzies (of Rome fame) and Jim Sturgess, star of a number of ITV and BBC dramas. More recently Travis played Eleanor's husband in mini-series The Last Enemy, a BBC thriller about a man searching for the truth about this brother's death and the ensuing international consiracy. Interestingly he played Giles in Hotel Babylon, the BBC series that stole viewers from Footballers Wives, ending its reign.

Footballers Wives hit the headlines for the infamous gay sex scene between Ben Price's character Conrad and Noah played by actor Marcel McCalla. It is then no surprise that straight character Oliver Ryan, played by Travis, not only had a scene in wearing only a towel that he eventualy drops down to reveal his penis, but that excellent scene where he is in the nude and tied to a bed with a vacuum cleaner being used to stimulate his cock.
