Zach Quinto is an Irish-Italian American actor known we know best for his roles as Adam Kaufman in 24, Sasan in So NoTORIous and of course the evil anti-hero Sylar in NBC's Heroes.

In his early acting days Quinto guest starred in a number of television shows, such as CSI, Charmed, Six Feet Under, Lizzie McGuire and L.A. Dragnet. His role in Fox's 24 was probably his big break, a cult TV series that also starred Sean Astin. His sexual appeal grew when he played Sasan a flamboyant gay Persian/American and best friend to Tori Spelling in her reality sitcom on VH1 (So NoTORIous).

Of course it was at this year's Comic-Con that they announced that Zachary would play Spock in the new Star Trek.

It's early days for Quinto. The way Americans are about seeing naked men on prime time television it is no surprise caution has led Zachary to staying clothed in most of his appearances. The pictures below are of a gay kiss sauna scene in Tori's 'reality' comedy. The photo at the top of the page is from (I think) Heroes itself where his character Syler has obvously been showering in the nude. His hot Trekky co-star "Chris Pine (who plays Kirk) will have at least one sex scene in the movie (due out in 2009), but don't expect to see much of Zachary. Let's hope he is chosen for some Brokeback Mountain spin-off sequal!

Zachary will take his fame to the next level in Hollywood in 2009, where he dues to appear in the new Star Trek (just when they said they wouldn't make any more). This will be his film debut - in a movie generally accepted for its homoeroticism and gay sympathies. Although it did take George Takei years to come out.

Alongside him in Star Trek we should see hunk Eric Bana, the man with the cute eyes Chris Pine and TV's all-round eye candy Anton Yelchin.

I've seen some scenes from this new Star Trek movie, which chronicles the early younger days of the stars we know so well. It looks to me like Kirk gets it on with Uhura and Spock gets a bit jealous!
